英語點津-個人演唱會的英文表達
我們經常在娛樂新聞中看到某某明星又開個唱了，“個唱”就是個人演唱會的簡稱，那么個人演唱會的英文說法是什么呢?

在上面的報道中，solo vocal concert是我們所熟知的“個人演唱會”，也可以簡稱為solo concert。一提起concert我們就很容易聯想到古典音樂會，其實concert也經常用來指現在的流行音樂會和演唱會。流行歌曲音樂會就是pop concert。Vocal在該詞組中的意思是“歌唱的”，vocal concert有別于一般意義上的concert就在于加入了歌手的演唱。
Solo在這里是指“獨唱的，單獨表演的”。例如：a solo singer(獨唱演員);a solo dance(獨舞);a solo performance(獨角戲)。Solo還有“單獨進行的”的意思。例如：I got accustomed to my solo dinners.(我習慣了獨自用餐。)另外，solo還用來指家庭中單一家長的，即“無父或無母的”，例如：Solo children are afforded protection previously unavailable to them.(已向單親家庭的兒童提供他們以前未能得到的保護。)
