在parade rehearsal(游行演練)和military parade(國慶閱兵)期間，red armbands可以幫助進行安保工作，并對游客進行疏導。他們成為60th anniversary celebrations(60周年國慶)的volunteer team(志愿者隊伍)，并在白天執行patrol responsibilities(巡邏任務)。這種city volunteers program(城市志愿者計劃)是在去年北京奧運會時確立起來的。
